Embark on a visit to Tayku, a town two hours from the reserve, where you can immerse yourself in the soul of the ancient life of the Cogui. Here, time seems to stop, offering us a window to the past where 11 families that previously guarded an ancient town have come down to show us their life, culture and worldview. Upon our arrival, we will be greeted by a Cogui guide, who will lead us through ancient stones and spiritual terraces, revealing to us the deep meaning they hold for his people. Throughout the tour, we will see the roads planted with cocoa and coca, and we will witness the process of making panela in a sugar mill. In addition, we will have the opportunity to observe the jabas weaving backpacks and the looms used for cotton from the mountains.
